Betty Jean Hanna, 58, of the 500 block of Middle Gibbs Road, died Jan. 12, 1997, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Hanna was a member of the New Life Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Hanna; a son, Buddy Hanna of West End, N.C.; a daughter, Julie Owens of Knotts Island; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel. A church service will be conducted at noon Wednesday in the New Life Pentecostal Holiness Church, 3310 Indian River Road, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Daniel Campbell. Interment will follow in Rosewood Chapel Memorial Park.
