William Lee Grether, 62, of the 9600 block of 19th Bay St., died Jan. 12, 1997, in his home. A Norfolk native, he was a night clerk at Pembroke Towers.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Grether; a daughter, Barbara Ann Grether of Norfolk; a son, William L. Grether Jr. of Manassas, Va., a stepson, Christopher Sanderford of Norfolk; a brother, John Grether of South Carolina; and other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk, from 3 to 4 p.m. today.
