Louise Conner Crosby, 69, died Jan. 13, 1997, in Suffolk.

A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she was a native of Carrsville, Va., and the widow of Robert A. Crosby. She was a member of Fairview Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Rita C. Cooper and her husband, William, of Portsmouth; a son, James Conner of Portsmouth; three daughters, Erica Cooper, Ashlee and Sara Conner of Frederick, Md.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Allen L. Dooley. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Temple Baptist Church.
