Louise Shields, 73, of the 3500 block of Executive Center Drive, died Jan. 10, 1997.
Born in Dreweryville, Va., she was the widow of Edward Shields Sr. and a member of Third Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughters, Beryl Parker, Phyllis Shields, Edna Shields; a son, Morris Shields; mother, Alice Tillett; two sisters, Mamie Taylor and Jenny Johnson; two brothers, James Tillett and Perry Tillett; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Third Baptist Church by Rev. Joe B. Fleming. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge.
