Margaret Evelyn Leigh, 86, of the 2300 block of Wintergreen Drive, died Jan. 13, 1997, in a Portsmouth nursing home.
The widow of Fred Eugene Leigh, she was a member of Westhaven Park Church of God, Portsmouth, and a native of Arkansas.
Survivors include two daughters, Stella M. Eddins of Chesapeake, Evelyn Schmeiser of Orlando, Fla.; a son, Roy Leigh of Fairbanks, Alaska; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Westhaven Park Church of God by the Rev. Frank Allen. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland.
