Stephen A. Presnell, of the 1300 block of Calla Ave. died Friday Jan. 10, 1997.
He was a forklift operator who loved poetry and songwriting. He was a soft-spoken man who will be missed by his family and friends.
He was the beloved father of Bobby and Amy Presnell. Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Beth Presnell; and his relatives, Bill Covington, Jerry Presnell, Doug Covington, Howard Covington, Rodney Covington and Becky Pond.
A private memorial service will be held at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, at 7 p.m. today.
