Margaret Mae Devenney, 71, of the 4300 block of Hillcrest Farms Circle, died Jan. 11, 1997, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the widow of Joseph W. Devenney.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda M. Walters of Virginia Beach; a son, Shawn F. Devenney of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Alberta McGee and Jean Olson, both of Pennsylvania; three brothers, Thomas Baxter, Richard Baxter and Harry Baxter, all of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, 1997, in Arlington National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Society.
