Cornellia Galloway, of the 2400 block of Sedgewick Drive, died Jan. 16, 1997.
She was a retired executive housekeeper for Sheraton Hotels.
Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy M. Galloway of Virginia Beach; six sisters, Annie Bullock of Virginia Beach, Charolett Mae Galloway, Rachel Burrell, Lucille Galloway, all of South Carolina, Delores Backus of Syracuse, N.Y., Mary Gladys Pouncy of Bennettsville, S.C.; four brothers, Connie Rogers of South Carolina, Junious Galloway of Winston Salem, N.C., Elijah Galloway Jr. of Syracuse, N.Y., Halles Palmer of Bennettsville; grandchildren, Travis Galloway, Shannon Galloway, Dezada Galloway, all of Virginia Beach; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and aunt, Liza Manning.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Upper Room Church on the Rock, Virginia Beach, by Elder William Perry. Burial will be in Jones Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Community Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
