MARY E. TURNER

Mary E. Turner of the 3200 block of Brest Avenue died Jan. 18, 1997, in a local hospital.

A native of Henderson, N.C., Mrs. Turner was the widow of Robert Turner.

Survivors include four daughters, Sadie Slade, Lerie Turner, Doretter Marshall and Alfreda Rivers, all of Norfolk; three sons, Johnnie Turner of Portsmouth, Calvin Turner and Robert Turner, both of Norfolk; three sisters, Christine McKnight, Jeanette Boyd and Roberta Boyd; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Graves Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Anthony Moses. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the residence.
