Maria B. Barcoma, 84, died Jan. 19, 1997, in Bayside Health Care, Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Barcoma was a native of the Philippines and the widow of Deogracias V. Barcoma. She was also a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church.
Survivors include her two daughters, Azucena Quizon and Monserrat DeLeon, both of the Philippines; two sons, Rustico Barcoma of the Philippines and Claro Barcoma of Virginia Beach; sister, Luisa Barreda of New Jersey; four half-sisters of the Philippines; brother, Regino Barreda of Virginia Beach; a half-brother of the Philippines; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church by Fr. Anselm Ober, O.S.B. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. A Christian Wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, with the family remaining until 8:30 p.m. to greet friends.
