James Kenneth Gregory Sr., 79, died Monday Jan. 20, 1997, in Lynn Shores Manor.
A native of Princess Anne County, he retired in 1981 after 25 years with Transportation Management at Norfolk International Airport. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Virginia Beach, and a World War II Army veteran.
Survivors include a son, James K. Gregory Jr. of Virginia Beach; brother, Benjamin Gregory of Richmond; stepmother, Myrtle Gregory of Richmond; two grandchildren, James K. Gregory III of Virginia Beach and Ann P. Gregory of Jackson, Wyo.
Mr. Gregory was taken to Maestas Funeral Home, Baltic Ave. Chapel. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 8100 Granby St., Norfolk, by Dr. J. Scottie Griffin, his pastor. Memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 945, Virginia Beach, Va. 23451.
