Mary Elizabeth Green, 83, died Jan. 21, 1997, in her home.
A retired secretary for Naval Aviation Supply Depot, Ms. Green was a Charleston, S.C., native and a member of Park Place United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a niece, Brenda G. Benson of Glen Allen, Va.; great-nieces and nephews, Stephanie R. Cornett of Charlotte, N.C., Suzy B. Schnabel of Annapolis, Md., William G. Benson of Moorpark, Calif.; a devoted and dear friend, Percy Purcell of Norfolk.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park.
