Margaret Mary Falls, 87, of the 5700 block of Granby Street, died Jan. 23, 1997, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Falls was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk and was the widow of John Thomas Falls Sr. She was a lifelong member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Norfolk.
Survivors include three sons, John T. Falls Jr. of Norfolk, Thomas J. Falls of Portsmouth, Gerald F. Falls of Tallahassee, Fla.; three grandchildren, Patrick J. Falls, John F. Falls III, Heather Falls; and two great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 1997, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by Father Julian B. Goodman. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
A Christian Wake service will be held in the funeral home today at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial donations be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor Charity in Richmond, or to a charity of donor's choice. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
