Edwin C. ``Mickey'' Roeder, 97, died Jan. 22, 1997.
Born in Milwaukee, Wis., he was the widower of Marie Hardesty Roeder. He retired in 1964 as supervisor in the plant engineering department of Ford Motor Co. with 34 years service. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his devoted friend for many years, Marjorie T. Currin-Pearce of Chesapeake; and a stepson, Dr. Campbell Clarke of Charlottesville, Va.
A graveside funeral will be held at 12:30 p.m. today in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation continues this morning in Snellings Funeral Home Chapel, George Washington Highway Chapel.
