Katharyne M. Brickhouse, 81, of the 5600 block of Tidewater Drive died Jan. 24, 1997, in her residence.
A retired bookkeeper, Mrs. Brickhouse was a Rogersville, Ala., native and the widow of Thomas E. Brickhouse. She was a member of Calvin Presbyterian Church and a U.S. Naval veteran of World War II.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Lee Brickhouse of Virginia Beach and Gail B. Pena of Rosenberg, Texas; son, Thomas W. Brickhouse of Buffalo, N.Y.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Calvin Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Bob DeWitt. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday.
