Cecile J. Morris, 80, died Jan. 23, 1997, in DePaul Medical Center.
A self-employed artist, Mrs. Morris was a native of Jackson County, Ga., and the widow of Raymond C. Morris. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, D.A.R. and the Tidewater Artist Guild.
Survivors include two daughters, Sylvia J. Nowak of Carson City, Nev., and Judith L. Ferguson of Blacksburg, Va.; a sister, Grace Lourcey of Decatur, Ga.; five grandchildren, Sean and Ian Ferguson, Lloyd Jones Jr., Michael R. Jones and Mary Kathleen; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Main Street, Norfolk. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Boulder City, Nev.
