Minnie Myrtle Bricker, 91, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 1997, in a local hospital.
A native of Bellwood, Pa., she was the widow of George E. Bricker.
Survivors include two sons, Robert A. Bricker of Chesapeake and Eugene M. Bricker of Knotts Island, N.C.; a sister, Lully Irwin of Chambersburg, Pa.; a brother, Robert Root of Richmond; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel, by the Rev. Fred W. Bates Jr. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
