A KICK IN THE SHINN

Rhinos, cash cows and local politicians - what a zoo! I nominate Sheriff McCabe for zookeeper. Let's kick George in the Shinn and send him on to other pastures to fleece other sheep.

When the local politicians put the squeeze on us for money, let it be for schools, roads, police, water or sewers. Local governments should be building and maintaining services and infrastructure for the benefit of all, not just the few.

If we're looking for recognition, let's show the world how we can put aside petty squabbles. By consolidating into one regional metropolitan entity, we can streamline government, improve services and reduce cost. Then businesses will be fighting to move here.
