PRO FRANCHISE FINE, BUT NOT THIS ONE

For all the locals who are so anxious to bring an NHL franchise to Hampton Roads, how many NHL players can you name who aren't listed in the Rhinos' advertisements? Now, think about all the NBA, NFL and MLB players that you can name. Do you really want to forfeit our chance for a franchise that almost everyone would support?

Norfolk's ``leaders'' (and I use the term loosely) seem to believe that they are unaccountable to us. It's time we stand up to them and let them know we are sick of our money being wasted on frivolous projects with limited appeal. Hasn't the sinking Nauticus - appropriately hosting the Titanic exhibit - proved that they don't know what is best for us?

Write your city councilmen. Flood them with letters and let them know that we are tired of being ruled instead of represented. Clearly, the only way to make them listen is to inform them that their seats are in jeopardy.
