Louie F. Smith Sr., 79, a retired Baptist minister, died Jan. 27, 1997.
Survivors include his wife, Cleo C. Smith; son, William T. Smith; daughter-in-law, E. Ann Smith; grandson, Adam T. Smith, all of Mechanicsville, Va.; brother, Larry E. Nelson of Holyoke, Mass.; and a number of nieces and nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his son, Louie F. Smith Jr.
Family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in the Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel, Richmond, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Interment in Westhampton Memorial Park.
