Henry Corbert ``Pete'' Wiley Jr., 61, of the 800 block of Johnstons Road, died Jan. 25, 1997, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
A native of Norfolk, he was the son of the late Henry C. and Willie Mae Davidson-Wiley. He was a supply technician for the Norfolk Naval Supply Center for 29 years. A member of the Booker T. Washington High School class of 1954, he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict.
Survivors include two daughters, J. Lavern Johnson, Cristie Ferguson; three sons, Michael C. Wiley, Vincent Wiley, Christopher A. Wiley; a brother, Dr. B. Thomas Garnett; four grandchildren; and a niece, Donna Alexander.
A funeral will be held at noon Thursday in Riddick Funeral Service Chapel, Norfolk. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
