LEGISLATIVE DONATION

Sen. President Pro Tem Marc Basnight and the Speaker of the House Harold Brubaker are asking all who attend the opening session of the General Assembly Wednesday to contribute a donation of non-perishable food to the Food Bank of North Carolina.

The session convenes in the legislative chambers at noon. Food Bank volunteers will accept donations in the front lobby of the Legislative Building, located at 16 W. Jones St., Raleigh.
