WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.-Michelle Sessoms converted a bank shot with four seconds left in overtime as Norfolk State defeated Winston-Salem State 77-76.
The Spartanettes (13-5, 8-1 CIAA) then stole the inbounds pass and ran out the clock to secure their sixth straight victory.
Sessoms finished with 19 points and 14 rebounds for the game and forced three steals in the overtime period.
Raymona Jackson scored 18 points, while LaTina Bullock added 16 points and eight rebounds for Norfolk State.
Chellia Nelson led Winston-Salem State (7-9 overall) with 28 points and seven rebounds.
The Spartanettes face Bowie State on the road Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
