WILMA C. CARRAWAY

Wilma Clair Carraway, 82, of the 2100 block of Abbey Road, died Jan. 26, 1997, in Chesapeake.

Born in Kinston, N.C., she was the widow of Gordon Carraway Jr. and was a member of Order of the Eastern Star Kinston Chapter; president of PTA Federation during the 1960's; and member of Kent Park Garden Club.

Survivors include a son, Gordon B. Carraway III and his wife, Faye, of Chesapeake; two sisters, Anna G. Harper, Elizabeth Taylor, both of Kinston; and a grandchild.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Keith Davey. The family received friends Tuesday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel.
