Motion to transfer $128,011 from the Grants Contingency Account for Fire Protection Services. The city has received its 1995 Fire Program Funds which will be used for improved firefighter safety through additional training as well as purchasing needed protective clothing, breathing apparatus, and firefighting equipment, etc. No local match is required. Approved, 7-0
Motion to transfer $53,289 from the Grants Contingency Account for the Support Training Education Program Council for Violence Against Women. The Department of Criminal Justices Services has awarded these funds to enable the city to provide a special prosecutor and a special victim advocate for female victims of domestic violence, sexual assaults, and stalking. A local in-kind match of 25 percent or $17,763 is required. Approved, 7-0
Motion to transfer $33,312 from the Grants Contingency Account for the Parents and Children Against Violence Program.
