Elmer H. Deibler of Route 4 died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 1997. He was the beloved husband of Jacqueline Griffin Deibler.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sisters, Ruth D. Bates, Esther D. Wood, Pauline D. Edwards, Dorothy D. Simmons; and a brother, Earl Deibler, all of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev. John R. Thompson. Interment will follow in Virginia Memorial Park. Woodall-Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, is in charge.
