Eleanor Ann ``Ele'' Edwards, 52, of the 800 block of E. 29th St. died Jan. 24, 1997, in DePaul Medical Center.
A packer, Mrs. Edwards was a Norfolk native and a member of Order of Eastern Star Golden Angels.
Survivors include three daughters, Michelle Edwards Morgan, Regina Belfield, Raquel Smith, all of Norfolk; son, Tony Edwards of Norfolk; mother, Alice Williams of Norfolk; four sisters, Aleta Williams Alston, Lorraine Wilson, Romona Williams, all of Norfolk, stepsister, Juanita Skipper of Chesapeake; three brothers, Milton Lee Edwards of Norfolk, Leon Williams of Lansing, Mich., and stepbrother, Pernel Corprew; seven grandchildren, Tony Brown, Shekita Worsley, Shekira Edwards, Shadara Edwards, Sivad Morgan, Derrick Belfield II, Darrell Smith Jr., all of Norfolk; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends; three sons-in-law, Derrick Belfield, Horace Morgan and Darrell Smith. She was predeceased by her father, Rudolph Edwards.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Andrew Church of God in Christ, Norfolk, by Pastor Loretta Jones. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble in 815 E. 29th St., No. 5, Norfolk, at noon Saturday for the funeral procession to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service is in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
