Michael Thomas Roesle Sr., 50, went to be with the Lord Thursday, Jan. 30, 1997.
Born in Oakland, Calif., and an avid Raiders fan, Mike graduated from Princess Anne High School in 1965. He served seven years in the USMCR, and was currently employed by Cal-Ark International as an over-the-road professional truck driver.
He is survived by his best friend and loving wife, Kay; a son, Michael T. Roesle Jr. and his wife, Melinda, of Baltimore; his mother, Lavon L. Roesle of Virginia Beach; his father, C.J. Roesle of Washington, D.C.; sister, Patricia Richardson and her husband, James, of Virginia Beach; and mother-in-law, Doris E. Hartzog of Virginia Beach.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Bayside Christian Church, 2224 Greenwell Road, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Raymond Good. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity of your choice or the American Heart Foundation.
