Lillian Russell Beverly, 88, of the 4700 block of Bart St. died Jan. 29, 1997, in her residence.
A native of Louisville, Ky., she was the widow of Lacy Beverly. She attended Westhaven Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Juanita Conley Adams of Portsmouth, Eloise Cascone of Hartford, Conn., Shirley Howell of Oklahoma; a son, Brian Beverly of Portsmouth; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. W. Thomas Wood. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel.
