ICEALIUS A. HALL

Icealius Alvin Hall, 85, formerly of Hopewell, died Jan. 30, 1997, in Nansemond Pointe Nursing Home, Suffolk.

He was born in Canton, N.C., the son of the late Audi Barter and Athaline Worley Hall. Mr. Hall was a retired special agent for the FBI and was a former member of the Special Agent FBI Association.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Andrew and Kathryn Hall of Suffolk, Dr. Alvin Leroy and Mary Frances Hall of Cincinnati, Ohio; three grandchildren, James Alvin Hall of Madison, Wis., William Icealius Hall of Oneonta, N.Y., Joseph Balok of Elon College, N.C.; two nieces, Shirley Fratarcangelo of Hopewell and Carolyn H. Leatherman; and a nephew, Andy Hall of Alaska.

The family will receive friends tonight in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home, the Rev. David Wade, pastor of First United Methodist Church, Hopewell, officiating. Interment will be in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, Va. Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
