Harvey Martin Locke, 77, of the 3300 block of Nelson St. died Jan. 29, 1997, in a Portsmouth hospital.
A native of Lynn, Mass., he retired from the U.S. Navy after 23 years service and from the Portsmouth Public Works Dept. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and Korea and was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association No. 40.
Survivors include his wife, Annie T. Locke; two sons, John Parrish, Jeffrey Locke, both of Portsmouth; a sister, Louise Gailbraith of Palm Beach, Fla.; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Keith Lewis. Burial with military honors will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.
