Elsie Holland Morgan, 89, of the 3900 block of Arcanum Lane died Jan. 29, 1997, in Obici Hospital.
Retired as a nurse anesthetist for Obici Hospital, she was born in Isle of Wight County and was the widow of Aubrey F. Morgan Sr. She was a member of Suffolk Christian Church and participated in the West Memorial Bible Class. She was the daughter of the late M. Richard and Sarah Pierce Holland.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. Aubrey F. Morgan Jr., Lewis J. Morgan, both of Suffolk; two sisters, Dorothy H. Brinkley of South Hill, Va., Irene H. Wilson and Myrtie H. Nelms, both of Windsor, Va.; granddaughter, Teresa M. Moye of West Palm Beach, Fla.; great-grandsons, Brandon L. Moye and Sean M. Moye, both of West Palm Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Cedar Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Michael D. Halley. Friends may join the family in Hill Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the Obici Nursing School Scholarship Fund, 1900 N. Main St., Suffolk, 23434 or to the Suffolk Christian Church Building Fund, 216 N. Main St., Suffolk, Va. 23434.
