James A. Kittrell, 66, of the 1700 block of Vine St. died Jan. 28, 1997, in a local hospital.
Survivors include his daughters, Carolyn Kittrell and Mary D. Kittrell, both of Norfolk; five sons, Marvin Childers, James A. Kittrell, Joseph Kittrell, LeVoid Kittrell, Elvis Kittrell, all of Norfolk; 30 grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends; three stepdaughters and a stepson.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in First Pentecostal United Holy Church, 1434 Wilson Road, Norfolk, by Elder A. Ray Rouson. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at 1778 E. Berkley Ave., Norfolk, at 11 a.m. Monday for the funeral procession to the church. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Monday. Metropolitan Funeral Service is in charge.
