Linda Lee Whitehurst Lassiter, 54, died Jan. 29, 1997, in her residence. She was a native of Norfolk.
Survivors include her parents, Vernon Whitehurst and Catherine Cuthrell Whitehurst of Virginia Beach; two daughters, Catherine M. Hartley of Chesapeake, Leigh L. Hall of Portsmouth; a brother, Lee Whitehurst; and three grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Highland Memorial Gardens, Ahoskie, N.C., by the Rev. Tom Hall. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements.
