A CRUCIAL DECISION

Many of us harbor lingering concerns about the motives of Paula Jones' lawsuit. We are troubled by the photos of her in Hustler; her sister referring to her as a ``golddigger''; and, finally, the relentless rumors of her less-than-virtuous past.

Now, Ms. Jones has the opportunity to put some of these concerns to rest. Her attorney, Gilbert Davis, was videotaped making flagrantly sexist and demeaning comments to a female client - according to press reports.

If Ms. Jones is the woman she wants us to believe she is, she is undoubtedly repulsed by Mr. Davis' comments and will fire him immediately. If not, she should withdraw her lawsuit and apologize to the American public and the president for wasting everyone's time and money.
