Corine Lee Vaughan of the 1700 block of Cullen Avenue died Jan. 31, 1997, in Washington Adventist Hospital, Takoma Park, Md.
She was a retired retail clerk for Sears and Roebuck, Norfolk. A native of Norfolk County, she was a member of St. Mark United Church of Christ, Berkley, Norfolk.
Survivors include her husband, Willie Vaughan; daughter, Shirley M. Gilmore of Fort Washington, Md.; three sisters, Maggie Blow of Chesapeake, Rosetta Moseley of Virginia Beach and Doris L. Williams of Portsmouth; brother, Bennie Lee of Chesapeake; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many other surviving relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in St. Mark United Church of Christ by the Rev. Thomas Hart. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Fitchett Funeral Home is in charge.
