Tanisha Ann Stafford, 4, of the 500 block of Longdale Crescent died Jan. 31, 1997.
A native of Akron, Ohio, Tanisha was predeceased by her mother, Cynthia Webb Stafford, and her sister, Taneka Stafford. She is survived by her father, John Stafford Jr. of Akron; brother, Jamaal Stafford of Chesapeake; grandparents, Georgia Stafford and John Stafford Sr. of Chesapeake and Jefferson and Myrtle Webb of Clairton, Pa.; aunt, Elizabeth Stafford; aunt and uncle, Patricia and Alvin Scott, all of Chesapeake; and a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends of Clairton.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Basilica of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception, Norfolk, by the Rev. Monsignor Walter C. Barrett. Burial will be in Mount Peace Cemetery, Akron. The family will meet at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception, Norfolk, the day of the service. A wake service will be at 7 p.m. today in Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home.
