Addie Odessa Bell, 79, of the 900 block of Lincoln Street, died Feb. 1, 1997, in Portsmouth General Hospital.
A Portsmouth native, she is survived by her husband, Robert L. Bell; two daughters, Hazel Sadat and Evelyn Brevard; sons, Robert L. Bell Jr. and Harry E. Bell; son-in-law, Anwar Sadat; sister, Senelle Holley; two brothers, Robert Newby and Lennie Newby; 19 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by two daughters-in-law, Martha Bell and Bertha Bell
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Fisher Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Michael Newby. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. The family will be at the residence.
