COMPARING JOBS

In reply to the Feb. 4 letter, ``A question of priorities,'' about salary differences:

Let's compare the number of days and hours worked by teachers and sanitation workers. I don't think sanitation workers get summers off, two weeks at Christmas and every holiday that Hallmark has a card for.

All things considered, the sanitation worker is probably happier and safer.
