MARTIN T. HART

Martin T. Hart of the 1000 block of Rockbridge Ave. was called to his heavenly home Feb. 5, 1997. He was 81 years old.

A native of Newark, N.J., he retired in 1972 as a supervisor of Aircraft Instrument Shop, Naval Air Rework Facility, after 31 years in civil service. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, where he served as a deacon. He was also a member of the National Association for Retired Federal Employees, Chapter 66. He had participated in the Norfolk Mobile Meals program for 20 years.

He is survived by his wife, Bertha Dingfield Hart and a number of nephews, nieces and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church by Pastor Daniel H. Quiram. Memorial donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 6001 Granby St., Norfolk, Va. 23505. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements.
