Ann Hale Williams, 73, formerly of Blacksburg, Va., died Feb. 7, 1997, in a local hospital.
A retired secretary to the president of Virginia Tech, Mrs. Williams was a Blacksburg native and the widow of Robert L. Williams Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara W. Lux of Virginia Beach; son, Robert L. Williams III of Floyd, Va.; two sisters, Phyllis Tate of Blacksburg and Ruth Parker of Christiansburg, Va.; two grandchildren, Jack Lux and Jennifer Lux, both of Virginia Beach; five nieces and four nephews.
A graveside funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. The body will be taken to McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg, for visitation Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and burial. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the M.E. Cox Center for Elder Day Care Inc., 644 N. Lynnhaven Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23452.
