Mary Lula Taylor Pearson, 85, died Feb. 7, 1997.
She was the widow of George Norman Pearson.
Survivors include daughters, Jane Pearson Gurkin of Brunswick County, Va., and Nellie P. Mitchell of Ante, Va.; sons, George Anderson Pearson of Richmond, Francis Norman Pearson of Gasburg, Va., and Robert Graham Pearson of Boykins; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Independence United Methodist Church, Emporia. Echols Funeral Home is in charge.
