John P. Davis, 16, of Blake Road went to his heavenly home Friday, Feb. 7, 1997.
A Norfolk native, John was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, where he served as an acolyte. He was a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 3 and Naval R.O.T.C. at Granby High School. He was a creative artist.
Survivors include his mother, Marilyn Lee Davis of Norfolk; grandparents, Jim and Evelyn Vaughan of Norfolk; father, Paul Davis of Norfolk; and many other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church by the Rev. Daniel H. Quiram. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a fund for education at Trinity Lutheran in John's name.
