Margaret Miller Butler, 82, of the 3400 block of Wheatfield Court, died Feb. 9, 1997.
Born in Colerain, N.C., she was the widow of Raymond H. Butler and a retired nurse. She was a member of Green Acres Presbyterian Church, Portsmouth.
Survivors include a son, Raymond H. Butler Jr. of Charlotte, N.C.; three sisters, two brothers, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk, by the Rev. Walter C. Hunting. Family will receive friends at the residence. Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, is handling arrangements.
