Gary Lee Briggs, 57, of the 1500 block of Hawthorne Drive, died Feb. 10, 1997, in Richmond.
Born in Grove City, Pa., he was an operation manager for Value City Department Stores and a member of Church of the Nazarene. He was the son of the late Sara ``Betty'' Briggs and Clarence ``Bud'' Briggs of Chesapeake who survives.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Watson Briggs of Norfolk; two sons, Kevin L. Briggs of Portsmouth, Jonathan D. Briggs of Norfolk; and brother, Paul E. Briggs of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. today in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Robert Dixon. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the residence.
