Joyce Elizabeth Brown Landry, 29, of the 8100 block of Shore Drive, died Feb. 11, 1997.
Born in Wakefield, Mass., she was a floral designer.
Survivors include her husband, Jesse Kevin Landry; a stepdaughter, Jessica Leigh Landry of Texas; parents, Beverly Ann Brown and Francis G. Brown of Wakefield, Mass.; two sisters, Cheryl Cates and her husband, Maurice Cates of New Mexico, Sharon Lapp and her husband, David of Michigan; parents-in-law, Floyd J. Landry and his wife, Marie of Schertz, Texas; two nephews, Joshua Murphy, Blaine Lapp; two nieces, Katie Murphy, Cassey Lapp; two dogs, Spuds and Diablo, and a rabbit, Sweetie.
She was a beloved wife and fought cystic fibrosis for 29 years. She was listed as a double lung transplant recipient. She donated her eyes to the Lions Eye Bank.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital Chapel by Chaplain Nancy Wood. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Joyce Brown Landry Scholarship Fund, 66 West Park Drive, Wakefield, Mass. 01880.
