Joseph ``Joe'' Hamilton Riddle, 84, of Virginia Beach, former president and owner of Temple of Music, died Feb. 12, 1997, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mr. Riddle was a native of Birmingham, Ala., and had resided in Virginia Beach for 20 years. He was the widower of June Cheek Riddle. Mr. Riddle was an Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II.
He will be greatly missed by his extended family, co-workers and former employees and his peers in the music community, James Hill, Jamie P. Dusenberry, and his Godchildren, Jennifer K. Mills and Eric H. Mills, all of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:45 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 1997, in Princess Anne Memorial Park by the Rev. Dr. C. Marcus Engdahl. There will be a visitation in the funeral home Friday from 7 to 8 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 945, Virginia Beach, Va., 23451, and the American Heart Association, 360 Southport Circle, Virginia Beach, Va., 23452. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is in charge.
