Vickie Gregg Parker, 38, of the 1300 block of Wool Ave., died Feb. 10, 1997, in Maryview Hospital.
A native of Portsmouth, she was a past member of Mount Nebo R.Z.U.A. Church, Portsmouth.
Survivors include her husband, Edward Parker Jr.; a daughter, Chiquita Adams of Portsmouth; a son, Edward K. Parker of Portsmouth; three sisters, Louise Harris, Cynthia Patillo and Robin Harris, all of Portsmouth; two brothers, Robert Harris and James Gregg, both of Portsmouth; a very special aunt, Barbara Newsome of Portsmouth; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends, including a special friend, Milton ``Toughguy'' Adams.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in New Berean Baptist Church, 3600 Bamboo Road, Portsmouth, by Pastor Leon Ricks. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Portsmouth. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at noon Friday. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Saturday.
