Eleanor C. Day, 91, is absent from the body and present with the Lord. She passed away on Feb. 12, 1997, at Virginia Beach General hospital.
She was predeceased by the love of her life, Capt. Charles Day in November 1971.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, NAS Oceana, by Chaplain Bob Fiol and Chaplain Tom Chadwick. Friends may join her family and many friends for a time of fellowship in the fellowship hall following the service.
Burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, 1997 at Arlington National Cemetery. Friends should gather by 12:30 for a procession from the administration building to the gravesite.
In lieu of flowers any memorial donations may be made to your local SPCA or favorite charity in her name. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. Laskin Road Chapel is handling arrangements.
