Brock Keeling Macon Sr., 73, of the 400 block of Linkhorn Dr. died Feb. 14, 1997, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mr. Macon was born in Norfolk. He was a graduate of Maury High School class of 1941 and the V.P.I. Blacksburg, Va., class of 1945. He was an Army Veteran of WW II. He was a member of Galilee Episcopal Church in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Macon was a avid tennis player and was retired from the Ford Motor Co. after 40 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Whitehurst Macon of Virginia Beach; his daughter, Elizabeth Keeling Willis, and her husband, Clifford Willis, of Jacksonville, Fla.; his two sons, Brock Keeling Macon, Jr. of Santa Barbara, Calif., Brian Douglas Macon of Virginia Beach; a stepdaughter, Anne Robin Pearce and her husband, Steven Pearce, of Virginia Beach; a stepson, Dr. T. Roy Jerrett of Virginia Beach; and 6 grandchildren.
A church service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, 1997, at Galilee Episcopal Church. Memorial donations may be made to Virginia Beach Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 945, Virginia Beach, Va. 23451 or charity of choice.
